HERDSA received two nominations for the position of HERDSA President Elect/President. The position of HERDSA President requires a three year commitment. For the first year, beginning at the 2024 conference in July, the successful candidate serves as President Elect, or the current President when already holding that position. The one-year position as President Elect enables a full induction of the incoming President into the current practices and systems of HERDSA before the full role of President is assumed at the conclusion of the 2025 conference. From July 2025 the nominee elected as President for 2025-2027 has two years as President before another election is required.  The maximum a President can serve is 6 years.

The winning candidate will serve as HERDSA President from 2025-2027.

When voting closes, voting numbers are not published and remain confidential.
