The HERDSA 2021 Student voices videos are now available!

HERDSA Higher Education Research & Development Society of Australasia) always welcomes student participation in our annual conference. In 2021 we asked to hear students' stories, ideas, and opinions about higher education and their experiences through a brief video. We planned to play a selection of these during the conference.

Thomson Reuters sponsored the Student Voices, and they presented a book voucher to Lily Nguyen and her colleague Michael from the University of Melbourne. Watch now on the HERDSA YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZ9Vmn9hz7GmMRGP8QiI5tA

2021 National Students as Partners Roundtable | The Partnership Paradox
Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th November 2021

The 21C Student Curriculum Partners, Western Sydney University are excited to be hosting the 2021 National Students as Partners Roundtable. The theme this year is:

THE PARTNERSHIP PARADOX

When: Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th November 2021
Where: Online via MS Teams and Zoom
Cost: It’s free

The invitation is now open for students and staff to submit a Partnership Case Study, and to share their Partnership practice with a national and international student-staff partnership community. The Call is open to students, educators, teachers, researchers, professional and technical staff working in a tertiary and higher education setting to submit a staff-student partnership initiative. We’re interested in initiatives that focus on:

1. learning, teaching, curriculum and assessment
2. engaging students in research, or as researchers
3. co-curriculum activities and programs for student engagement
4. students' participation in academic governance
5. academic and educational development
6. conceptual, critical and theoretical challenges to student-staff partnership

One thing we ask – is that you aim to foreground a paradox for conversation.

We are also delighted to confirm Professor Peter Felten, Elon University, as our first of three keynote speakers.

Partnership Case Study submissions close on Friday 1st October. Registrations for the Roundtable itself open in mid-September.

Visit the National SAP Roundtable website www.saproundtable21.com to learn more. Follow #SAPRtable21 on twitter for updates. Please share widely and we hope to see you there.
