HERDSA Grants call for applications
Closing date 28 February 2022

HERDSA offers grants to HERDSA members to fund research and/or development projects on teaching and learning in higher education that directly align to the mission of HERDSA. Five (5) grants of AUD$5000 each are available. Priority for one grant will be given to applicants identifying as Indigenous/First Nations (e.g. Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Māori or Pacific Nations).

Applications will close at the end of February 2022. Successful applicants will be informed at the end of April 2022. Grant applicants have one year for projects to be undertaken and completed. Grant final reports are due the following April 2023. Dissemination of project outcomes occur in a presentation at the annual HERDSA conference in July and publication in either HERDSA Connect, ASRHE or the HERD journal.

Register for the WA Teaching and Learning Forum 2022
:Early bird registrations 15 January 2022

The WA Teaching and Learning Forum continues for its 31st year on 3rd and 4th February 2022, hosted by and at Murdoch University.

The Forum is a collaborative event by the five universities of Western Australia to share, showcase, and network on matters of tertiary learning and teaching.

Our theme for 2022 is (Re)Connecting.

We are excited to announce our keynote speakers are:
* Professor Jane den Hollander, AO
* Tjalaminu Mia

It is shaping up to have a jam-packed program of presentations, workshops, nuts and bolts and immersive teaching bite sessions shaping up. It is infused with a (re)connect program interspersed through the formal program. A draft program should be available on 18th December 2021.
