Copy editor and administrator required for ASRHE
Expressions of interest by 30 June 2021

HERDSA’s new journal Advancing Scholarship and Research in Higher Education (https://asrhe.org/) is growing. We are looking for:
- A copy editor with experience in editing academic publications, and strong communication skills for interactions with authors and editors via the OJS journal publishing system.
- An administrator with strong organization, communication and social media skills, as well as ability to work within the OJS journal publishing system on administrator level, and understanding of academic publishing.

Flexibility in terms of working hours will be required. We are looking for individuals who can take on more work when required and grow together with ASRHE. Please send expressions of interest to Eva Heinrich via editors@asrhe.org by 30 June 2021. Please provide a brief CV and outline the reasons for your interest in the roles.

HERDSA 2021 - Academic Integrity Symposium
7—10 July 2021

Register to join at this year's HERDSA Conference to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7—10 July 2021. This year's program is not to be missed, including the Academic Integrity Symposium presented by Dr Christine Slade (The University of Queensland) and Dr Guy Curtis (The University of Western Australia) which will include:
- New research on contract cheating and file-sharing
- Evaluating the TEQSA nation-wide academic integrity workshops and an introduction to the academic integrity toolkit
- Creating a sustainable institutional environment for academic integrity
- Developing an institutional-wide academic integrity approach at a large metropolitan research-intensive university.

ISSOTL21 Call for proposals extended
30 June

The International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning fosters collaborative, interdisciplinary, and innovative scholarship in the area of higher education teaching and learning around the world. The Society serves faculty members, staff, and students globally who care about teaching and learning as serious intellectual work. The annual ISSOTL conference is an important venue for facilitating the collaboration of scholars in different countries and disciplines and the flow of new findings across national borders. This year, in response to the circumstances created by ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and ISSOTL’s eagerness to fully convene again, the 2021 annual conference will be ISSOTL’s first in an entirely virtual environment.  

Hosted from Perth, Australia, the ISSOTL21 conference will be structured in three time zone clusters to allow real-time participation for presenters and attendees from all over the world.  

Call for Proposals is now open until June 30. Accepting proposal submissions for: Panel presentations; Single paper presentations; Concurrent workshops; and poster presentations - all fully virtual.

Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey
30 June 2021

Curtin University is leading the Australian data collection round for the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students’ Survey run jointly by the Universities of St. Gallen and Bern. The survey targets undergraduate, postgraduate and HDR students across all disciplines. We're seeking university partners to help distribute the survey to their student populations to get as much representation from our city-based and regional institutions across Australia. The research has Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee approval (HRE2018-0800). The Australian round is hosted and sponsored by Business Foundations who have put forward a $2000 completion incentive prize for a participant who completes the survey. In 2021, in addition to researching the determinants of entrepreneurial intention, action and performance, the survey also includes topics of gender, entrepreneurial well-being and entrepreneurial decision-making. The data collection ends on 30th June 2021.
