Special Interest Group - Teaching in Health Bioscience

I am an ACT branch member and would like to form a special interest group. I am currently a Lecturer in Nursing (teaching focused) at the University of Canberra. I am interested in concept-based learning, particularly in the Bioscience and Health areas. I am also interested in the use of technology to enhance student engagement in these areas. My discipline is currently working towards a new curriculum for 2018 and accreditation with ANMAC so I would love to see what others are doing in these areas, and how I could incorporate some innovative teaching into traditionally content heavy and didactic bioscience units.

If you are interested in being a member of this SIG email Courtney Haynes, courtney.hayes@canberra.edu.au
