Comedy show about feedback
Thursday 20 March
How to Seek Feedback (and Survive It!)
The Peer Revue featuring Professor Phillip Dawson
Motley Bauhaus, 118 Elgin Street, Carlton
Thursday 20 March, 7pm
Feedback. We all know it’s essential for learning and improvement—but it can be hard to ask for, and even harder to act on.
For the March edition of The Peer Revue, Professor Phillip Dawson (CRADLE, Deakin University) will take the stage to explore how to seek feedback effectively. Phill is a HERDSA member, a past keynote speaker at the HERDSA conference, and leads an ARC Discovery project focused on helping people make the most of feedback.
But this won’t be your usual academic talk. At The Peer Revue, researchers share their work—and then a team of comedians turns it into improv comedy. Expect deep insights, questionable advice, and plenty of laughs about the awkwardness (and importance) of feedback in higher education.
