The Academic Development SIG will hold a Virtual Café Chat on Getting Started and Becoming an Academic Developer. We are delighted that Celia Popovic from York University in Canada will guest host the session. Celia and her colleague Fiona Smart have recently launched an open-access initiative “Educational Developers Thinking Allowed” (https://edta.info.yorku.ca/), which contains a wealth of information on common issues we encounter as beginning and advanced academic developers. Celia will discuss this resource and other development opportunities for academic developers.
