Associate Professor Eva Heinrich

Associate Professor Eva Heinrich, School of Fundamental Sciences, Massey University Palmerston North, New Zealand has been part of the HERDSA community since 2003.

Eva's field is teaching in information technology and computer science.  She was awarded a teaching award by her university, and has achieved Senior Fellow status with the Higher Education Academy. Her research focus has been on learning technologies and higher education.

She was awarded the HERDSA NZ Research Medal in 2015. She has led a Research in Teaching and Learning Group since 2015 and convened the HERDSA NZ TERNZ Conference.

Eva was the editor of the HERDSA journal RDHE (Vol 42) in 2019/20, and associate/lead editor of the Q1 journal AJET for 2013-20.

Since 2020, Eva has served as the founding executive editor of ASRHE, HERDSA's new open access journal.

Eva is currently the New Zealand branch secretary.
