Ingrid Moses awarded an Order of Australia

HERDSA life member Emeritus Professor Ingrid Moses was awarded the an Officer of the Order of Australia in the 2018 Australia Day honours. Ingrid began her academic career at the Tertiary Education Institute (TEDI) at the University of Queensland and was the foundation Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Technology Sydney. She was Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Canberra, and later held the position of Vice-Chancellor of The University of New England before serving as Chancellor of the University of Canberra. Ingrid received her HERDSA life membership in 1999 in recognition of her long and distinguished service to the Society and in recognition of her outstanding commitment to the improvement of teaching and learning and the quality of academic work in higher education.
