Expressions of Interest: Central HERDSA Conference Committee
Please send your EOI as a pdf to office@herdsa.org.au by Friday 21 September for consideration.

The Executive are calling for expressions of interest from current HERDSA members interested in establishing a HERDSA Conference Committee. Ideally, members of the HERDSA Conference Committee will commit to a 3-year term, and have capacity to contribute approximately one hour per week. It is anticipated that the number and frequency of meetings (held online) will be determined by the committee. In the first year, more regular meetings might be required in the establishment period. It is anticipated that a member of the HERDSA Conference Committee would join the local conference planning committee meetings where feasible.

The Executive would like to have the HERDSA Conference Committee in place as soon as possible and will guide planning for the 2020 HERDSA Conference. The Conference Committee will be supported by and report to the HERDSA Executive.
The suggested headings for your Expression of Interest are:

Name:
Institution/affiliation:
Previous conference organisation experience and roles undertaken:
Additional organisational skills:
Aspect(s) of conference organisation you are most interested in supporting:
