The International Journal for Students as Partners seeks additional editorial board members
Apply by 19 December 2018

The International Journal for Students as Partners (IJSaP) editorial board (EB) wishes to expand and seeks applications from a staff/faculty member and a student from a non-English speaking country and/or part of the world in which student-staff partnerships are an emerging development. They will join the existing EB, which consists of four student-staff teams in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States, plus a senior editor and an editorial manager.

The journal
IJSaP is co-edited by students and staff/faculty and is run on partnership principles. The ethos of student-faculty/staff partnership is something that is a distinctive feature of the journal. IJSaP explores established and emerging perspectives, practices, and policies regarding how students and staff are working in partnership to enhance learning and teaching in higher education. The journal was founded in 2016 and the first issue was published in 2017.

IJSaP publishes articles, reflective essays, case studies, opinion pieces and reviews about partnership between students and others in higher education focused on explorations, practices, policies, and analyses of teaching and learning. It is an open access journal published twice a year by McMaster University Press. Further details are available at: https://mulpress.mcmaster.ca/ijsap.

The positions
We welcome and recognise the diversity of skills and experiences students and staff may bring to the role of co-editors. Applications for appointment to the EB should ideally come from a student-staff partnership (one student, one staff). However, individual applications will be accepted, and if appointed, a second appointment stage will be undertaken to identify a suitable partner. Team members may be at the same institution or at different institutions but normally based in the same country/region.
