Decoding Digital Literacy - staff survey
December 15, 2017

How do you perceive your digital literacy capacity and preparedness to teach in a technology enhanced environment? What are your perceptions of students’ preparedness to learn in a technology enhanced environment? I’m seeking answers to these questions as part of my ALT Fellowship, Unlocking the code to digital literacy at http://altf.org/fellowships/unlocking-the-code-to-digital-literacy/ (also see www.decodingdigitalliteracy.org). Work to date has resulted in a cross-disciplinary understanding of digital literacy. The next stage is to construct a digital literacy framework to underpin this understanding which will inform digital literacy skills development within curricula in the future.

I invite you to contribute to this stage of my Fellowship by participating in the survey, Digital Literacy Staff Survey. A link to the survey and the Plain Language Statement (PLS) explaining the nature of the research is available at http://www.decodingdigitalliteracy.org/academic-staff-survey-resources.html. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

I would like to distribute the survey as widely as possible and would appreciate your assistance in doing so. Even if you decide not to participate, please would you share this invitation with your academic colleagues and networks.
